About the role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our Product & Tech team. Our data scientists are already developing state-of-the-art computer vision AI-models (we have won several international tender competitions in this field, beating all competitors, including some industry giants) and your role will be to help us scale our data pipelines and infrastructure, so that we can develop ever better AI solutions, faster, without compromising security, quality or developer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, testing, and deploying state-of-the-art software systems for automation, data collection, and Computer Vision applications
• Building pipelines to automate the trivial parts of our model development and production life cycle.
• Working extensively with our modular software platform and cloud technologies like AWS.
• Supporting Data Scientists to scale ML models and remove any roadblocks to enable seamless delivery of those solutions.
  

We are using languages and technologies such as Python, Pytorch, Flask, PostgreSQL, AWS, TypeScript, React, Google Maps API.

Requirements: 

• Knowledge of machine learning pipelines, from data processing via training to performance analysis and scalability
• Deep understanding of how to build scalable, reliable, and easy-to-maintain software and the ability to make architectural decisions
• Strong experience using Python and working with databases

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in data and model version control and management of extensive datasets
• Expertise in containerization and application orchestration in AWS
• Industry experience in deploying and maintaining ML models and pipelines
• Production experience with monitoring and logging for asynchronous systems
• Comfortable with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch
